Ah, the conundrum: do I post works in progress, chronicling myself as I learn? Or shall I act the professional and post only finished pieces, as if I know what I'm doing?

Hurm.

So I've been wasting time getting to know my Photoshop a little better. People seemed to like the coloring of the cat girl(enough to be covered on a porn blog), so I'm trying my hand at the cover for Invader, the comic I did so long ago. We never found a colorist, so I figure why not?


So there it is. Not nearly finished, but I'm getting the retarded impression that I could actually do this.

First attempt at coloring anything digitally using more than 2 colors. There are only 2 or 3 tones to each color, but still... I'm pleased as first drafts go. Be gentle:

This s my first attempt at playing with inkwash. I don't know why I held off this long, because I love it. It came out well, though a little less consistent than I would've hoped for. But hey, first attempt... I can't be too dissatisfied.
